ll, I’ve formed such strong relationships with the girls I’ve played with and have made some of my best friends from volleyball.”
Entering the new season, Rhodes said there are many things she has seen from the team that are positives as they prepare for a tough schedule.
“Some of the positives I’ve seen from the team coming into this season are that everyone picks one another up, everyone is so hard working, and everyone has fun together. I’m so excited for this coming up season because I get to spend it with the best girls and teammates I could have ever asked for,” said Rhodes.
The team has a strong bond and Rhodes is excited to see how far they can go.
“What I love most about my teammates at Owasso is how encouraging and supportive they are. There is never a dull practice with my teammates. They always know how to have fun, and they always know how to lift someone up when they are down. I’m very grateful to have such amazing teammates alongside me this season,” said Rhodes. “If I had a dream scenario this season, it would be that we would win regionals and then go on and win state as well. I think our team this year is very capable of reaching that goal, and I’m excited to see what this next season brings.”
Rhodes said she finds inspiration in her family.
“My biggest inspiration has been my sister, Madison. Growing up, Madison and I were always very close. She has taught me so many important things and continues too today. She’s always been my biggest role model and someone I’ve constantly looked up to my whole life. She never fails to be there for me and is the most supportive person I know. Everyone deserves a sister like her,” said Rhodes.
