OUTLOOK
There are many reasons the Bulldog basketball fans are excited for this season. Head coach Patrick Dinneen is excited as well and he should be with the players he has coming back to the court.
“We are incredibly excited for the upcoming season. We are bringing in fresh talent and have a young, energetic group ready to make an impact. The team is coachable, dedicated, and works tirelessly on and off the court. With their commitment and drive, we are eager to see the growth, chemistry, and success this season will bring. The future looks bright, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store,” coach Dinneen said.
Leading the way is junior Aubrea Franklin (5-7). Franklins is a VYPE Top 100 selectee and a varsity contributor for the last three seasons. Her consistent play, versatility and determination are all factors that make her one of the top players in the area.
“Averaging 15 points, 5.0 rebounds, and numerous steals per game, Aubrea’s impact is felt on both ends of the court. She can play any position with skill and confidence, and her relentless work ethic makes her a leader on the floor. Aubrea’s outstanding performance earned her a spot on the 2024–25 All-Conference team, highlighting her as one of the top players in the league,” coach Dinneen said.
Reilly Gott (5-4, Jr.) is another player to watch for the Lady Bulldogs alongside Autumn Franklin (5-7, So.) who can help the team in many ways. Gott will look to add some defensive stops this season. Sophomores Andrea Young (5-4) and Jordyn Tracy (5-4) will add to the defense as well.
“Known for their tenacity and relentless effort for the team. They complement their defensive prowess with strong shooting skills, making them versatile players capable of excelling anywhere on the court. Freshman Paityn Hartman (5-5) brings tremendous basketball IQ, reading passes effectively and knocking down deep shots with confidence. Together, this trio combines skill, hustle, and intelligence, making them a group to watch this season,” coach Dinneen said.
Tessa Anderson (5-5, So.) is a standout on and off the court.
“Tessa is known for her unmatched work ethic and dedication to improvement. She has put in an incredible amount of time in the gym this summer, refining her skills and pushing herself to the next level. A true team player, Tessa consistently supports her teammates, whether through leadership, hustle plays, or selfless effort. Her commitment, determination, and passion make her an invaluable asset to the team,” coach Dinneen said.
