9 Questions with Collinsville’s Cross Country Runner Maci Marshall – Presented by McGraw Owasso

VYPE: What grade are you in this year and how long have you been in cross country?

Maci Marshall: I am a junior and have been running cross country for four years.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life and why?

MM: My dad has been the biggest influence; he pushes me beyond my limits and never doubts my potential.

VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?

MM: My favorite subject is Biology however my favorite teacher is my Spanish teacher Mrs. Vogel.

VYPE: What clubs or groups are you involved in at school?

MM: I am involved in National Honor Society, XC, soccer, track, TCC and attend a girls Bible Study.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?

MM: After high school I plan to attend college to pursue a law degree.

VYPE: What is your favorite meal to have before and after a cross country meet?

MM: Without fail every night before a race I eat spaghetti and meatballs.

VYPE: Do you hear the crowd during a meet?

MM: When I am running, everything goes silent, I am only focused on what is in front of me.

VYPE: What is your best time and where did you run them?

MM: I ran my best time in Edmond with a finishing time of 21:26.

VYPE: What do you love about your teammates?

MM: I love the unity of our team and how we do a group prayer before each race.
