VYPE: Macee, what do you love most about your team and teammates at Owasso?
Macee Pruitt: I love that my team is very close and that we all plan hangouts together outside of basketball.
VYPE: What’s the strength of your game and what are you working on to improve?
MP: The strength of my game is defense. I am improving my shot from the three-point line.
VYPE: Which teammate is the most vocal and which teammate keeps everyone laughing?
MP: Madi Hill is the most vocal and Annabelle Ngouan makes everyone laugh.
VYPE: What current or former teammate left an impression on you? Explain.
MP: Annabelle Ngouan, because she is always there for me when I’m struggling and always shows up.
VYPE: Who inspires you? Explain.
MP: God is my inspiration because He gives me strength to do things the right way and with purpose.
VYPE: Has anything surprised you in early practices with the basketball team?
MP: Yes, our ball movement and drives to the paint for kick outs are great.
VYPE: Favorite subject in school and favorite teacher from any grade and what other clubs or groups do you belong to at school?
MP: Geometry is my favorite subject. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Wilson who teaches 7th grade math. I’m in National Honors Society.
VYPE: Favorite thing to eat before a game and after a game?
MP: Before games I drink an Alani and eat Skittles, after the game I like to eat a Chick-fil-A sandwich.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
MP: Hanging out with my friends
