CATOOSA LADY INDIANS

Coach: Konner Johnston

23-24 Record: 2-22

OUTLOOK

Coach Konner Johnston takes over the Lady Indians program entering the new season with several questions to answer as they put in place a new system with a few new faces.

“Very excited about this upcoming season for this group of girls we have this year. We have a lot of new moving parts with a first-year head coach and new girls added to the roster. The returners we do have are older and more experienced and should help playing against the competition we have in our conference,” said Johnston.

A trio of seniors dot the lineup this season with Ta’Nei West (5-9, Sr.), Alexes Ertman (5-7, Sr.) and Lexi Buckmaster (6-0, Sr.). West and Ertman play a guard/forward combo type position while Buckmaster will play forward. All three have good experience and will be important players for Catoosa this season.

Jacquelyn Cornwell (5-7, Jr.) will play guard and is the only junior listed on the roster. Cornwell’s play can help this team win games as they start to build the program from within.

A talented sophomore class is coming with Kloie Bristol (5-9, So.) at guard/forward, Lucianna Underwood (6-0, So.) at forward, Jasmine Russell (5-5, So.) at guard, and Hadley McGrew (5-9, So.) at guard/forward. A trio of talented freshmen are ready for their first season of varsity play. That group includes Avery Tiffany (5-7) at guard, Lily Ray (5-9) at guard, and Olivia Bowen (6-0) at guard/forward.
