It’s the Barn Life for Finlee Fuller – Presented by RibCrib

Owasso High School sophomore Finlee Fuller is a member of the FFA chapter and a former track athlete for the Rams. Fuller got involved in FFA because she wanted to learn more about the program and what it had to offer.

“I got involved in Owasso FFA my 8th grade year. I’ve always been interested in FFA because I grew up competing in the Hunter-Jumper Association and wanted to learn more about the agriculture world,” said Fuller.

Being around horses and competing made FFA a natural progression for Fuller. The sophomore said she has enjoyed showing livestock and being around the friendly people.
“The thing I enjoy most about FFA is the new friendships I’ve made over the years. The activities I’m involved in are showing sheep, and livestock judging,” Fuller said. “I have shown sheep since my 8th grade year! it’s definitely one of my favorite things that I do.”

Fuller said anyone interested in FFA should give it a try.

“FFA does take a lot of my time up so I am not involved in anything else,” Fuller said. “Advice what I would give to a new upcoming FFA member would be put yourself out there, do the things that your scared of cause at the end of the day it’s worth it and works itself out.”

Fuller plans to attend Oklahoma State University majoring in agriculture education.

When you ask anyone in FFA what the best aspect of being a member in the program, they all tell you it’s the people.
“What I love most about the people in the FFA world is how supportive everyone is of you,” said Fuller.
