When the Lady Rams to the field this season under the leadership of head coach Abraham Khalil, it will be with a plethora of seniors.
“Our team this year is a very experienced group that includes 15 seniors. It is a group that knows what the expectations are and are excited to not just meet those expectations but surpass them. They are a highly competitive and tough group that is ready to hit the ground running this season,” said coach Khalil.
University if Illinois commit Millie Byerly is back after accounting for 12 goals and six assists in half a season which was cut short due to an injury.

“Millie is one of the best players I have been blessed with the privilege of coaching,” coach Khalil said. “This year we look forward to all she will do for us now that she is fully healthy. Millie is a dynamic forward who can be a threat with her speed running in behind or with the ball at her feet going forward. Last year she was a captain for our team as a junior and did a great job leading our team vocally and by example.”
“ ”Anderson Rogers enters the fray as a freshman and is already one of the top defenders on the team. Coach Khalil said the team is excited to add her to their experienced back line.
“Anderson is phenomenal under pressure, physical, athletic, technical, and understands the game at a high level. She is going to add even more talent to our back line,” said Khalil.
Also look for Teya Bigknife who will play center mid for the Lady Rams. Known for her work ethic, Bigknife helps set the tone for the team.
“She is one of the hardest working kids you will ever meet or watch play. She contributes to our team when we have the ball and when we don’t. She finds a way to make an impact in every single game to help us. Teya is currently committed to play at the college level at Benedictine College,” said Khalil.
Olivia Staton is a senior and a member of the leadership council and one of the true leaders for the Lady Rams.
“Olivia checks in constantly on our underclassmen to make sure they are doing well. Olivia always comes to our extra team events as well and participates in reading books to our elementary school kids and is always at our kids camps helping the younger kids learn about soccer,” said Khalil.
