Owasso Senior Spotlight – Kobe Freeman – Presented by Rib Crib

Owasso High School senior Kobe Freeman is a point guard on the varsity basketball team. In his final year of prep basketball, Freeman said the season is full of great memories he will carry with him for the rest of his life.

“One of my favorite memories from this season is going down to Florida and beating two top 10 teams in the country,” said Freeman.

Despite not getting the outcome they wanted, Freeman said he learned a lot this season.

“Something I learned that is that you have to sacrifice for the greater good,” said Freeman.

When you look at the team, the Rams still have all the tools to be one of the top teams in the state. Freeman said everyone should pay attention to the big man.

“A teammate that impressed me this year was Jax Kerr. I think he is the best big man in the state by far,” said Freeman.

His plans after high school include college and more basketball.

“My plans after I graduate are to play college basketball and get a degree,” said Freeman.

Freeman said his parents are a source of inspiration and they inspire him to be great each day.
