OUTLOOK

The Eagles are led by two VYPE Top 100 selectees this season in Eestyn Prater (6-3, Sr.) and Judah Gibson (6-3, Sr.). Prater averaged 17 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists while Gibson mirrored that output with 17 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists. Coach Fletcher Reed said the pair are hard workers and could make an impact at the next level.

“Gibson is a scoring threat from all three levels with crafty finishes around the rim and a consistent shooting stroke. Great court vision constantly setting up his teammates. Uses his quickness to not only create on the offensive end, but also limit one of the top scorers from the opposing team,” Reed said. “Prater is a volume scorer from both inside and out. Puts pressure on the defense with his ability to blow by defenders. Has unlimited range from outside with the ability to make shots from well beyond the three-point arc. Athleticism can be seen on full display with his many dunks and rebounds.”

Triston Gibson (6-4, Sr.) is a productive forward averaging 9.0 points and 8.0 rebounds. Gibson makes an impact on both ends of the floor and has the ability to score above the rim, in the post, and is good in isolated situations.

“Gibson is a rim protector on the defensive end blocking multiple shots a game. Double-double potential every night out,” said Reed.

Also look for Kyler Moore (5-11, Sr.) at guard where he averaged 11 points and 4.0 rebounds and Wyatt Thompson (6-3, Sr.), a forward who averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds a game.

Overall, the team is set up for another solid season. Look for a few younger players to step up and make an impact this season.
