Deon have been heck of a player for us. And commanded double and triple team at times playing WR. Deon ended his senior year with 750 Rec, 6TD. And for career 1,350 13TD.

Cole Muir – Holland Hall
Cole Muir is one of the best and toughest players we have ever had in my 27 years at Holland Hall. He was the leader of the defense and has an unbelievable nose for the football. He is certainly a special football player and can see the game different from most. He has recorded more tackles this season than anyone in Holland Hall history by far.

Joseph was a force in the middle that command double team blocks every game. He finished the season with 91 tackles, 52 TFL, 62 hurries, 18 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries. He was District 5A-3 Player of the Year!
Dawayne Jones – Booker T. Washington
Dawayne has great ball get off. He was a force in the middle. He has a great football IQ. He finished the season with 83 tackles, 51 TFL, 57 hurries, 12 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 -2pt conversion.
Dawayne was Defensive Lineman of the Year in District 5A-3!

Jeran Williams – Tulsa Central
Jeran Williams is one of the best defensive tackles in Oklahoma and is also our starting center. This young man plays with a lot of unmatched energy and passion. Besides being a great football player, he is an even better young man. Jeran had 73 tackles and 4 sacks.

Ralph Stokes Jr. – Tulsa Central
Ralph Stokes is a great player and an even greater young man. Ralph is 6′ 205 Free Safety, that has great range, and is also a force on the run with his downhill presence. This young man is also great in the classroom with a 3.87 overall GPA. His stats for the 2024 season are 4 ints, 7 PBU’s, and 53 tackles.

Ayden Gaines – Oologah
Ayden was an exceptional athlete for us this year as only a sophomore. He came in and didn’t blink an eye and we ran most of our offense through him. Tough hard-nosed kid that loves the game and has a great mindset every day!

Chandler was our do everything back! He played WR/RB on offense and S/C/LB on defense, he was our long snapper and P/KO returner. Chandler is as tough as they come (tougher than most) he is the epitome of never miss a second of anything whether it be summer pride, 7 on 7, or practice.

Titan Collins – Sasakwa
Titan had a tremendous sophomore year for the Vikings. He had 47 receptions for 1004 yards and 11 touchdowns in 11 games. Collins also had 12 interceptions on the defensive side of the ball returning 4 of those for touchdowns. Titan returned 5 punts this season for 237 yards and took one of those to the house, opposing teams only kicked off to him 3 times and he gained 137 yards during those returns. For an average of 45.7 yards per return. Collins was voted wide receiver of the year in the Little River Conference and voted Most Valuable Player of Class C District 4.
Joseph Lunn – Sasakwa
Joseph had another stellar year from the Linebacker position. Lunn only a sophomore spearheaded the Viking defense this season and amassed 113 tackles in just 10 games. Joe also had 2 sacks and 20 tackles for loss. He had 1 interception for 60 yards and a touchdown. Offensively at the fullback position, he had 44 carries for 271 yards, 7 touchdowns and 28 two-point conversions. Lunn was voted Linebacker of the Year in the Little River Conference and voted Defensive Player of the Year for Class C District 4.

Motor is running as soon as he gets off the bus – extremely physical with great feet and tremendous hands. Plays the game the right way!
Most dominating offensive lineman around – couldn’t even begin to count pancakes and knockdown blocks
Plays DT and DE and he completely shuts down that side of the offense – incredible what he does night in and night out

Zaedon Collins – Clinton
Zaedon Collins: Linebacker / Tailback
Played two ways. Had 123 tackles and 1537 yards rushing. With no real throwing game every defense we played knew who was going to get the ball. He earned his yards the hard way. Extremely tough young man. Proud of how he played. He our team not through words but through actions. I’m extremely proud of him and the way he played. Zaedon is deserving of recognition for his play and his leadership.

Cayden Davis was voted offensive player other year in c4 2024. 1300-yard rusher, averaged over 7 yards a carry in 2024 as a sophomore. 25 rushing tds. 6’2” 195 lbs. first Team all-district in 2023 and 2024.
Noah Alviso – Maysville
Noah Alviso was voted d lineman of the year by c4 as a sophomore in 2023 and offensive lineman of the year in 2024. First team all-district both years. 6’4 300lbs. Game wrecker at defensive tackle 50 tackles this season, 4 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries.

CJ Nickson – Weatherford
CJ is an outstanding young man who happens to possess incredible talent. He is a joy to coach and it has been a real pleasure watching him grow over the past couple of years. This past year he really took his game to the next level. His work ethic, leadership and playmaking ability this season went a long way in helping us to improve upon our past couple of years. I can’t wait to watch how he hones his craft and develops further as he solely focuses on football once he gets to OU. The sky is the limit for him with his character and natural ability.
Defensively, this year he had 54 Total Tackles, 14 TFLs and 3 Sacks. In his career he had 167 Total Tackles, 23 TFLs, and 7 Sacks. Offensively, in his career he had 111 catches for 1,918 yards and 23 TDs.

Kamdyn Whetstone – Empire
Kamdyn was our guy on Offensive and Defense. Played LB And RB for us he only played in 9 games for us He broke his Wrist and missed one game and played the last two games in a cast.
He carried the ball 183 times for 1222 yards and 22 TD’s. He had 80 total tackles 2 TFL, 1 FF, 1 INT
He was our District Offensive MVP.

Austin is one of the most gifted WR’s I have had the pleasure to coach in my long career. He has the best hands I have seen. He has really exploded his Junior and Senior year. Jamele broke the school record for touchdowns in a season with 11. He also had 33 catches for 733 yards, 22.2 yards per reception. Jamele also carried the ball 8 times for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Willie Cramer (DL)- Willie had a solid SR year compiling 54 Tackles, 5 TFL, and adding 6 Sacks. He was also our RB on Offense rushing for over a 1000 yds his Soph. and JR. season. But having a little over 500 this season.

Austin Solis – Mangum
Incredible kid who was our workhorse this year. Austin was 100% summer pride attendance as well as voted on by his peers as a team Captain. Austin was Pre-season All Vype and Preseason All Southwest Oklahoma Running back.
Mr. 3,000 Austin has rushed for 3,000 yards in his career at Mangum… capping off his senior year he had an impressive record-breaking year. He had 187 carries for 1,675 yards and 23 touchdowns breaking both school records! Austin has 3 college offers to play football at the next level.

Colton Gillispie – Mangum
Incredible kid his is coachable, attentive, and driven. Colton took on a new challenge this year and killed it! Colton produced 47 catches for 997 yards with 24 carries for 294 yards. He had 8 receiving touchdowns, 5 rushing touchdowns, and 3 kick return touchdowns… he also added a team high 6 interceptions. He finished with 1,675 all-purpose yards and was a day one game changer.

Tyler has been a two-year starter for our team and has an impact on both sides of the ball. This year with the move up from 8-man football offensively he completed 60% of his passes. He threw for 1,100 yards and 12 Td’s with 4 interceptions. On the ground he rushed for 970 yards and 11 touchdowns. Defensively he had 2 interceptions with one returned for a touchdown. He also recorded 83 tackles with 27 solos from his safety position. He also returned a kickoff back for a TD. He totaled 25 touchdowns on the year. He was our leader and will be greatly missed next year.

Caden Knighten – Pauls Valley
Caden is a great player. He is committed to Baylor and is the best RB in the state. If very versatile and has great hands which also makes him a receiving threat out of the backfield.
He had 1809 rushing yards and 26 TDs. 530 receiving yards and 6 tds.

Kysen Fincher – Ringling
A diverse athlete that is great at everything that he does. Super smart as well, he can get everyone lined up and a great leader. Great Player who can play any position at a very high level. Makes an equally big impact on offense, defense and special teams. What gives him a huge advantage is that he is a very smart player that understands ball. He was a great leader for our team and set great examples on and off the field.

Wyatt is 6’4″, 280 pounds, and a great offensive tackle. He graded out at 75% on blocking for the season. Wyatt pulls well on the counter and is an extremely good pass blocker.

I am writing to enthusiastically recommend Elijah Thomas for the Mr. Football award. As his coach for the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of witnessing Elijah grow both as an athlete and as an individual. During this time, I have come to know him as an awesome young man whose presence is felt both on and off the field. From the moment Elijah joined our team, his smile and positive energy have lit up every room he enters. His personable nature has made him a favorite among his peers and teachers alike.
What sets Elijah apart, however, is his determination and work ethic. He is undoubtedly one of the hardest workers I have ever coached. Whether in practice or during games, he approaches every challenge with relentless perseverance and a desire to improve. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse Elijah for the Mr. Football award. Kale Charboneau – Wagoner
Kale is an outstanding young man both on the field and in the classroom. (4.0 GPA) He has been one of the best players I have ever coached. He plays quarterback and linebacker for us. We won the 4A State Championship his sophomore year and were runner up his junior year. We are currently 12-0. Kale is 189/295 passing for 2,983 yards this season. He has 26 passing TD’s and only 3 INT’s. He has rushed for 717 yards and another 26 TD’s. He has also scored a TD on defense bringing his total to 53 TD’s on the season! Kale has 91 tackles and 4 sacks this season. For his career he has 7,854 passing yards with 66 TD’s and has rushed for 2,302 yards and another 53 TD’s. He has 301 career tackles and has scored 2 defensive TD’s, bringing his total TD’s to 121! He won the 215-pound state championship in wrestling as a junior as well. They don’t make them any tougher.

Jalen was a 4-year starter for us at Quarterback, he is great leader and has tremendous work ethic. Jalen broke his collar bone in his third play from scrimmage week 10 and was unavailable for us in the Play Offs. His season stats for 9 games were 1060 yards passing with 11 TDs, he also rushed for 824 yards and 6 TDs.

Teaguen is a phenomenal athlete and an even better student. He is a leader among his peers and is always the first one in and the last one out.
His athletic abilities and understanding of the game give him an edge in most every game we play.

Brenden Strickland – Gans
Brenden was Mr. Everything for the Gans Grizzlies. He played multiple positions and played with an injured knee. He is one of three seniors and led through his leadership while on the field. The positions he played was Center, Guard, Fullback, Defensive tackle, Defensive End, and did some long snapping for us. He made second team all-district and was nominated to play in the eight-man all-star game.

Houston played most of the year with a shoulder injury he suffered in the first game of the season. The injury kept Houston mostly on the offensive side of the ball. He still managed to have a great year and showed some real toughness and guts to play through such an injury and still put up offensive numbers. Where he really shined, and it doesn’t get as much fanfare is blocking which he is great at. Houston led this team by example and always showed up and played lights out.

Bennett Baker served as the team captain and starting Free Safety and Wide Receiver in the early parts of the season. Then he became the starting Quarterback midway through the district slate. He had multiple throwing, rushing and receiving TD’s this season. He had 64 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 6 pass break ups, a forced fumble and added a punt return for a touchdown too. Bennett was extremely valuable on the field but contributed the most with his leadership off the field.

Caleb Hawkins – North Rock Creek
This young man has had a tremendous impact on our program. He has the ability to affect the game in so many ways with his size and speed. He hardly ever left the field and was a warrior for us all year. At running back, he rushed for 1522 yards and had 27 rushing Touchdowns. He had 403 receiving yards and 3 receiving Touchdowns. Playing safety, he had 104 Tackles and 4 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery for 3 Touchdowns and a punt return for a Touchdown.
J.J. McClain Jr. – North Rock Creek
JJ was a true utility guy for us this year. He can do several things well. He played outside LB for us most of the year before we had to move him to safety due to injuries. He played Tight end on offense and was a physical blocker as well as a good receiver. He handled our punting duties as well as being our snapper on the field goal unit.
He had 69 tackles and 1 interception. 4 receptions for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns. He missed a couple of games due to an injury but played through it and did a great job for us.

Caleb Gideon – Christian Heritage Academy
Caleb is a difference maker on our team. He has single handedly won football games by his aggressive play and ball carrying. He plays offense and defense but has made the biggest impact when he carries the football. He has breakaway speed and refuses to be tackled. Caleb has great character and has been truly and honor to coach.

Brady is one of the best football players that I have had the opportunity to coach. He has contributed to the success of our program in every way possible. He has thrown the ball, run the ball, caught the ball, returned kicks, returned punts, played defense and our punter. He is an explosive, physical football player with elite speed and quickness. His ability to make plays in big moments has been one his trademarks. He has an impact on every game that he plays. He has been a key component in our teams 10-win regular season, district championship, 2 playoff wins to date. We will be playing in the state semifinals this weekend.

He got hurt in first game but came back and was a big reason we got to the playoffs. Numbers would be much higher, but he was hurt. 46 carries for 495 yards and 4 touchdowns. 23 receptions for 355 yards and 4 touchdowns. A great kid who would do whatever we needed to win with a great attitude.

Phoenix Murphy is a two-year starter for Norman High at QB. He has led the Tigers to a record-breaking year in 2024, where he led 6A-1 in passing yards, and total yards. Breck is an all-around great person. He is a quiet leader who is always doing the right thing. With above a 4.0 GPA and appearances in both the state wrestling tournament and the state track meet last year, he is a well-rounded athlete in addition to his impressive performance in school. This football season despite being double-teamed every play defensively, he racked up 50 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries. His defense performance earned him 1st team All District honors at DE. Offensively, Breck rushed for 532 yards and 6 touchdowns on 90 carries averaging 5.91 yards per carry and caught 12 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.

He is my only senior this year that started all four years under me. He played offensive and defensive lines and had over a hundred tackles.

Chase Eaves – Pawhuska
Chase is dominant in every phase of the game. He was the best player on the field in every game. Defensively he is one of the best tacklers I have ever seen. From his safety position, he had 103 tackles, 2 interceptions (1 for a TD), 8 broken up passes & 6 TFL.
Offensively he was a threat every time he touched the ball, and a devastating blocker. He lined up in the backfired and at slot and had 291 yds rushing and 10 TDs & 4 two-point conversions. Also had 751 yards receiving with 6 TDs & 4 two-point conversions.
In the return game, he had 14 punt returns for 320 yards and a TD. He also had 8 KOR for 249 yards and a TD. 1611 APY & 124 pts (18 TDs & 8 two pt. conversions)
Chase is also a great leader who was named a captain halfway through the season after joining the team halfway through the summer.

Titan Hix – Locust Grove
Titan Hix concluded the regular season top 30 in the nation for combined yards in a season after passing for 2,596 yards, 22 TD’s, and rushing for 1,296 yards and 26 TD’s. Titan has now accounted for just under 10,000 total career yards and over 100 career touchdowns. Titan averaged 389 yards and 4.5 TD’s per game.
Jerome Jackson – Nowata
Jerome Jackson is an outstanding student athlete and team captain. He was a two-way starter for us playing Offensive and Defensive Line. He was voted District A1-3 Defensive Player of the Year. He finished the season with 101 total tackles, 8 sacks, 18 Tackle for loss, and 3 fumble recoveries. He was a leader for us on and off the field over the last three years and his work ethic is second to none!

Cooper Hooker – Salina
Cooper was coming off a lower leg injury from early in the season and still accounted for 4 TDs in 2 playoff games. He had a 74-yard punt return for a TD and a 72 yard KO return as well as 2 TD receptions. Cooper accounted for 3 TDs vs Henryetta in Salina’s first road playoff win since 2010.
Cody Wheeler – Salina
Cody was our best all-around football player. He was the District TE/H Back of the year and will be our team Defensive POY. Cody ended the season with 93 total tackles, 8 Sacks, 13 QB pressures, and 7 TFLs. Cody graded out in the lower 90’s consistently throughout the season on offense as well. This team overcame some real adversity and several injuries to finish 7-5 and make it to the 2A-II quarterfinals. Cody led this team to its’s first road playoff win since 2010 and deserves a ton of credit for his leadership and toughness. Cody plans to play baseball in college as a catcher.

Trey Bennett – Woodland
Trey Bennett is our QB, SS, and leader of our football team. He is a do-it-all type guy and always comes up big for us. I have coached this kid since sixth grade, and he has always stood out as exceptional even amongst a group of great players and kids. Trey is 6’4 210lb and has an arm that can make every throw and legs that can extend plays and make teams pay. More importantly, Trey is a young man of great character and humility. He leads his teammates in a way that everyone’s willingly follows him because he practices all the things he preaches every day. He has always been a true pleasure to coach and would absolutely be deserving of VYPE Postseason POY.

Karson is a 3-year starter for us at linebacker and he also has played on the offensive line. Karson is our leading tackler this year and also the captain of the defense. He has a 4.0 grade point average and is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever coached. Karson is very deserving of this award.
Caleb Barney – Timberlake
Caleb is a 4-year starter for us and was our leading tackler last year when he was a junior. Caleb started as a freshman on our 2021 state championship team. Caleb is one of those players that his motor is always at full speed.
