OUTLOOK

After a run in the playoffs last season the Chargers and head coach Bobby Allison are eager to get back on the court and compete.

“The Tulsa Memorial Chargers return 100 percent of their playoff minutes from last season. We have deep team with 14 lettermen returning and a very strong senior and junior class that are ready to leave their mark on Charger basketball history,” said coach Allison.

Jalil Cotton – Senior – Memorial High School

Standout forward Jalil Cotton (6-6, Sr.) averaged 12.9 points with 9.2 rebounds a game last season. Cotton is joined by Jaden Johnson (6-6, Sr.), a combo player who averaged 7.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists last season. Both players are VYPE Top 100 selectees.

Jaden Johnson – Senior – Memorial High School

“Both young men started every game last year and both are top 40 prospects for 2025 and both have scholarship offers for numerous junior colleges with high upside at that level,” said Allison.

Guard Antonio Love (5-10, Sr.) can score and play solid defense. Love averaged 7.1 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per contest. Fabian Harris (6-2, Jr.) is a backcourt player who averaged 9.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. The Charger backcourt also features Jordan Powell (5-11, Jr.) who averaged 5.2 points with 3.2 assists and Koby Jackson (5-10, Sr.) who accounted for 2.8 points and 3.1 assists.

If you want a player who can have a breakout season, look no further than Isaiah Garrett (6-5, Jr.). Garrett is an athletic, versatile player who can do it all. If Garrett can put it all together, he could easily become one of the top players in the state.

Other players to watch include Jarrell Colbert (6-2, Sr.), Cameron Hishaw (5-9, Jr.), Jalen Branch (6-5, Sr.), Kaleb Jackson (5-11, Jr.), and Xavier Williams (5-9, Jr.).
