Tulsa Central’s Jeremiah Moore
The Central Braves are looking to take another big step this season and one player who wants to lead the charge is Jeremiah Moore. Moore is a junior and one of the top players in the Tulsa area.
“Jeremiah is a scrappy, tough, and smart basketball player. An excellent defender, this guard is an excellent two-way player. A hard worker and coachable. As a sophomore, he grew during the season to be one of the most consistent players on the court. He can be counted on to guard the toughest opposing scorer on the court,” said coach Nolan Richardson IV.
Moore said becoming a starter his sophomore season was a big accomplishment knowing how good the team was. Moore works hard to continue improving his game. His advice for younger players is simple.
“ ”“My process for getting better is staying in the gym,” said Moore.
Last season Moore averaged 14 points a game with 4.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per contest. Moore said he’s received a lot of advice, but the best advice came from his coach.
“The best advice I’ve been given was when coach told me, ‘It’s a mental game,’ said Moore.
The work continues as the season tips off and for Moore and the Central Braves, the focus is on making post season play. Before he starts his junior season, Moore wanted to give a shout out. “Shout out to everyone who believes in me!”
