Bixby’s Mason Daniel
VYPE: Mason, what grade did you start playing soccer and what grade are you in now?
Mason Daniel: I started playing soccer at age 3. I am now a junior in high school.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
MD: Their personalities and attitudes on the field.
VYPE: Do you belong to any other clubs or groups at school?
MD: I am a part of NHS for my school.
VYPE: What makes Bixby a great place for you as a student-athlete and who inspires you?
MD: They are flexible and provide a lot of support. My dad has been my biggest inspiration. He has taught me everything I know.
VYPE: What position do you play and what position would you like to try?
MD: I play center defensive mid. I would like to try an attacking center mid.
VYPE: Which teammate has impressed you so far this season?
MD: Pablo Bermejo because he came here from Spain and has been a great teammate and plays really well.
VYPE: What is a strength in your skill set and what have you improved on the most?
MD: A strength would be my defending and I have improved on my passing.
VYPE: When you have some down time, how do you enjoy spending it and what’s the goal for life after high school?
MD: I like to fish in my free time and spend time with my friends. To play college soccer.
