VYPE: Beau, what grade are you in and what position are you playing this year?
Beau Redwood: I’m a senior, and I play center.
VYPE: How old were you when you started playing football?
BR: I started playing football when I was six years old.
VYPE: How do you prepare yourself to take the field and compete in the trenches?
BR: I really just listen to music and mentally run our plays through my head.
VYPE: Is there a teammate who has impressed you this season?
BR: I’ve been really impressed by Kamdin George this season, but the person who really left an impression on me from last year is Colton Howard.

BR: The teammate that keeps everyone laughing would be Tate Tummons, and the most serious player is Logan Hicks.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at SHS?
BR: SHS has a really diverse student body and supports all sports.
VYPE: What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
BR: My favorite memo is “Do your job.”
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or teacher in school?
BR: I don’t have a favorite subject, but my favorite teacher is Mr. Hendrickson.
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
BR: After high school, I plan to attend Emporia State University and study to become a police officer.
