Broken Arrow’s Kamryn Lehrman

Kamryn Lehrman’s volleyball career started in the third grade when she joined a recreational league. As her skills improved, she advanced to the club team. Kamryn is now a senior at Broken Arrow High School. Volleyball continues to be a major part of her life.
“Volleyball has taught me valuable lessons in life, like leadership, learning how to adapt in situations and always giving my best effort toward anything. I am passionate about volleyball because it has given me so many opportunities, like the ability to consistently work hard. It has taught me a lot about myself,” she said.
Spending time with teammates is an opportunity to learn from one another and grow skills while bonding over the sport they love. Kamryn says she also values the time spent getting to know each other personally outside of volleyball.
“I think my teammate Aliyah has left the biggest impression on me. She is definitely one of the most positive people on and off the court and I have learned from her how to always uplift my teammates even when things are hard,” said Kamryn.
Kamryn’s parents provided the inspiration that got her where she is today. “Thank you, Mom and Dad, for always pushing me to be my best self in and out of volleyball and for always giving me the best opportunities to learn and grow as a person.”
She is proud to represent BAHS, where student-athletes are admired for who they are both in and out of their sport. “The best advice I was given was to stay confident in my abilities, not only as an athlete but also as a person.”
She loves being outdoors in the summertime, swimming and tanning with family and friends. “The most memorable vacation I have taken was going to Okaloosa Island in Florida with one of my best friends. We did so many things like riding on a boat, swimming in the ocean and getting to read our books in the sun while tanning,” she recalls fondly.
Kamryn wants to pursue a career in physical therapy after high school.
