Coweta Boys Soccer
As head coach Brad Mills and the Tigers gear up for another season the Tiger faithful are looking forward to seeing their boys back on the pitch and playing at a high level.
With several new faces from the underclassman ranks, the Tigers may appear to be a team on the edge of rebuilding, but with several veterans and two captains who are more than capable of leading this team to victory, Coweta is on the verge of exploding.
Conner Edmiston is relentless in his pursuit and has only one speed. His play helps set the tone for the Tigers, on and off the field.
“ ”“Conner is a 4.0 student in the classroom and a great competitor on the field. He is a very smart player and has great technical ability. He will be a four-year starter for our program, and we look forward to seeing him lead our team this upcoming season,” said coach Mills.
Edmiston was named captain this season alongside another all-gas type player in Camdin Wood. Wood is a senior and can play multiple positions including forward and midfielder. Like Edmiston, Wood is a candidate to play at the next level and will be a great leader for the Tigers this season.
Gabriel Noble started last season as a freshman and is making a switch to a new position this season according to coach Mills.
“He’s had to make a position switch from his position at club due to the demands of our team, but he hasn’t let that stop him from being a force on the field. He is a hardworking midfielder who provides a deep threat towards goal when he gets the chance. We look forward to seeing his goal contributions increase this season,” said Mills.
Also keep an eye on Samuel Phillips and Christopher Escobedo. Phillips continues to show big improvements in his game while Escobedo does all the little things that will help this team be successful.
