COWETA LADY TIGERS
Coach: Jade Allison
23-24 Record: 21-7
OUTLOOK
With everyone back this season head coach Jade Allison and the Lady Tigers are poised for another run in post season play.
“We return everyone from our team last year that made the state semi’s,” said coach Allison.
After winning 21 games last season the Lady Tigers are on the right track. Macee Matthews (6-0, Sr.) is leading the way at forward. Matthews averaged 12 points and 4.0 rebounds last season. A stellar freshman season for Gia Dennis (5-6, So.) at guard, has everyone excited to see what she can do this year. Dennis averaged 11 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. The combo of Matthews and Dennis are not the only dynamic duo opponents need to worry about.

Emersyn Eischein (5-10, Sr.) and Tayen Allen (5-6, Sr.) play forward and guard respectively. Eischein accounted for 7.0 points and 6.0 rebounds a game last season while Allen scored 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal a game. Also look for Jaycee Meissinger (5-5, Sr.) at guard. Meissinger is a quick player who can score, snag rebounds and add a couple of assists and steals per game.
Other players to watch include Kate Little (5-6, Sr.), Gracie Sanders (5-10, So.), Ebony Bell (5-10, So.), Nyah Addison (5-6, So.), Zoe Childress (5-6, Jr.), Kaylee King (5-5, Jr.), and Aubrey Honig (5-7, So.).
