OUTLOOK
It’s a new look for the Tigers coming into the season as head coach Matt Watson only returns one starter from last season.
“We are an inexperienced team with young talent that will start the season learning how to win close games. One starter returning and two rotation guys returning,” said coach Watson.
A familiar face in Connor Jensen makes his return as the teams only returning starter. Jensen led the team in three-point percentage last year and coach Watson calls him a “do it all player and a team first guy.” Jensen will take on a larger role this season and be one of the leaders on the court for coach Watson.
“ ”Look for Kooper Mcnac to play a significant role as well. Known as the teams hardest worker and best defender, Mcnac does not care where the credit goes. A true team player, Mcnac makes all of the little plays to help his team win.
Freshman Ryder Hogan is a point guard with a lot of potential. Hogan has shown the ability to play at the varsity level before playing at the varsity level. With more experience, Hogan should see more minutes this season as a freshman. Also look for Josiah Green (6-5, Jr.) in the post. Green is looking for a breakout season.
