Glenpool’s Kemarion Goff – Cross Country Spotlight – Presented by RainTech Roofing

Glenpool’s Kemarion Goff

Kemarion Goff is a sophomore at Glenpool High School, where he competes in cross country for the Warriors. He has only been in the sport for one year, but he already appreciates the team spirit.

“I love how everyone is passionate about running and how my team pulls through when it matters most,” he said.

Goff seems to enjoy all aspects of the competition, even before the running starts.

“I love morning weight training in track season! Honestly this season couldn’t have been better,” he said. “I had some really good times with my teammates, and I just want to thank Coach Weir for preparing me for the competition.”

Goff values his family very much, citing his grandparents and aunt as big influences in his life.

“I wouldn’t be where I am right now if it wasn’t for them, I am so thankful for all they’ve done,” he said. “Before meets I think about my mom and my little brother and just remember how much they mean to me in what God had called me to do and remember his promise.”

Goff is also a class representative in his tech class at Glenpool. He keeps a busy schedule, but when he does have free time, he loves to work out, watch One Piece, and hang out with his cousins.

After high school, Goff has aspirations of becoming a personal trainer.“I would like to become a personal trainer helping people grow in their fitness journey while having a wide platform on social media that teaches all different types of people how to become healthy and love their body,” he said.
