Glenpool’s Kenna Goodvoice
Softball season is well underway and players like Glenpool High School’s Kenna Goodvoice are off to a great start.
Now in her senior season, Goodvoice is ready to help her team make post season play and compete for a state title.
“My expectation for this season is to win state,” Goodvoice said. “I love that my team can always help me stay positive and uplift me when I feel down.”
The Lady Warriors are off to a great start this season and Goodvoice is helping the team in the field and at the plate. The senior is playing shortstop but has the ability to play multiple positions including pitcher and catcher. At the plate, Goodvoice said she is focused and looking to make good things happen.
“I mainly focus on just getting on base,” said Goodvoice.
The senior draws inspiration from a very important person in her life.
“My mom inspires me. I’ve seen her go through so much and she continues to stay strong no matter what. She’s always willing to help and never fails to be there for anyone, I love her,” said Goodvoice.
In the classroom, Goodvoice said her favorite teacher was Mrs. Rogers from her junior year, but her love is softball and it’s something she wants to do beyond high school.
“I plan to play softball in college,” said Goodvoice.
Also, a member of Student Life at GHS, Goodvoice enjoys spending time with family and friends away from the field.
“I love to sleep and hangout, watch movies with my little brothers and sister,” said Goodvoice.
