Jordyn Cook – Jenks High School

VYPE: What grade are you in and what position do you play?

Jordyn Cook: I am a senior, and I play short stop.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

JC: What I love most about my teammates is that we all care for each other and are there for each other whenever we can be.

VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Jenks HS?

JC: I love being a student-athletic at Jenks because, they make every sport and athlete feel seen and make it easy to want to work hard for my school.

VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?

JC: My favorite subject at school is English because I love to write. I got fortunate and have great teachers in all of my classes!

VYPE: What is your favorite pre-game and post-game meal?

JC: My favorite pre-game meal is Chick-fil-A and my favorite post game meal is Chipotle.

VYPE: Which teammate always impresses you the most or do you have a former teammate who left an impression on you?

JC: My teammate Paiton Hedges impresses me the most because she is always working hard, and through tough times she still perseveres.

VYPE: Where is your favorite place to play and why?

JC: My favorite place to play is my home felid, because they did such a good job remodeling it and it is very nice to play on.

VYPE: What is your thought process at the plate?

JC: My thought process is to make sure I am calm and find a place I want to try and hit at.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

JC: In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and boyfriend. I also enjoy relaxing by myself by coloring, going for a drive, or doing a Bible study.

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?

JC: After I graduate, I am going to attend Southern Nazarene University to play softball and study psychology.
