KIEFER LADY TROJANS
Coach: GRAYSON NIX
2024-25 Record: 22-5
OUTLOOK
In just a few seasons, head coach Grayson Nix has made Kiefer basketball a competitor at the highest levels. Last season the Lady Trojans finished with 22-wins and nearly punched their ticket to the state tournament.
“We return almost everyone after going 22-5 last season and being one game away from the state tournament. We are going to be very athletic and quick and plan to play at a very fast pace. We have a good mix of upperclassmen and underclassmen that makes the team gel together really well. I think we can be a top 8 team in 3A all year and have another chance to go to the state tournament,” coach Nix said.

VYPE Top 100 selectee Posey LaBouff (5-10, Jr.) can play guard or forward for the Trojans. LaBouff brings a high basketball IQ and a tremendous work ethic to the floor. Coach Nix said LaBouff will be a “stat stuffer for us all year long.” Many are expecting an all-state type performance from the junior.
Another player with some experience making her return to the court is Coley Rowton (5-9, Sr.). Rowton and Claire Hoover (5-5, Sr.) are two seniors who bring an intensity every team needs from their guards, but they also play smart and make good decisions with the ball.
Channing Hallum (5-7, So.) and Elle Adams (5-9, Jr.) are two key components for the Lady Trojans. Hallum will play point guard and is the motor that keeps this team moving. Look for her stock to rise a bunch this season. Adams continues to improve at forward. She does not get rattled playing inside and brings a toughness to the court the Trojans will need this season.
