VYPE: What grade are you in, and how long have you been playing baseball? What position do you play?
Collin Bradford: I am a sophomore at Berryhill High School, and I’ve been playing baseball for 11 years. I play right field, and I am a lefty pitcher.
VYPE: Who has been the biggest influence on your baseball journey and why?
CB: The biggest influence on my baseball journey is myself because I know my potential, and I know I can be better.
VYPE: How do you prepare mentally and physically for a game?
CB: Physically, I prepare for a game by having a certain catch and stretching routine. Mentally, I envision certain scenarios and what to do in those scenarios.
VYPE: What is your proudest moment on the field so far?
CB: My proudest moment on the field is when I started on the mound against Chickasha in the super regional game, throwing eight innings and allowing only one earned run.

VYPE: What’s the most challenging part of playing baseball at your level?
CB: The most challenging part of baseball at my level for me is being mentally tough.
VYPE: How do your teammates inspire or challenge you?
CB: My teammates inspire me by talking me up and picking me up when I’ve made an error or didn’t do well.
VYPE: What do you enjoy most about your coach’s style or leadership?
CB: I enjoy my coach’s style because they know our potential and how far we can go, so they push us beyond what we think we can achieve.
VYPE: Outside of baseball, what other interests or hobbies do you have?
CB: I am interested in cosmology and plan to study space science in college.
VYPE: Have you had a moment in a game that taught you an important lesson?
CB: Yes, against Chickasha when I pitched, I realized that you are going to get hits off of you and errors are going to happen—you just need to keep competing and be mentally tough.
