
VYPE: How long have you played soccer? What first got you interested in the sport?
Sadie Trotter: I have played soccer since I was three years old, so about 13 years. My older sister first got me interested in soccer, because she played so I wanted to play.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite memory in your time competing for your high school?
ST: My favorite memory from high school soccer is scoring against Jenks just two weeks ago, there’s no better feeling.
VYPE: What motivates you to be your best?
ST: I like working hard for my teammates and pushing myself to be the best.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite opponent to compete against? If so, why?
ST: Any big rivalries are my favorite to play against, they are so intense and fast paced.
VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you?
ST: My teammates are my family. This year everyone gets along so well, and they are truly my best friends.
VYPE: What song hypes you up before a game?
ST: “Many Men” by 50 Cent and “Love is an Open Door” from “Frozen.”
VYPE: What is your go to post-game meal?
ST: I go to our local Mexican restaurant, Tijuana’s, and get the chicken, queso, and rice meal.
VYPE: Who do you look to as a role model and why?
ST: My dad is my biggest role model; he is the hardest worker I know and has the biggest heart.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
ST: I’m hoping I will have the opportunity to play soccer at the collegiate level.
