Q&A with Glenpool’s Giorgio Carrasco – Presented by Redbud Physical Therapy Glenpool

VYPE: Giorgio, what grade are you in and when did you start playing soccer?

Giorgio Carrasco: I’m in the tenth grade and I started playing soccer in pre-k.

VYPE: What position are you playing for Glenpool High School?

GC: I play midfielder.

VYPE: Do you play for a club team?

GC: Yes, I played with Tulsa Soccer Club and West Side Alliance.

VYPE: What do you enjoy most about playing at GHS?

GC: Being able to play against my cousins.

VYPE: What is a strength you have and what have you improved on the most?

GC: One of my strengths is my field vision. I’m good at reading plays and making good attacking opportunities.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

GC: They are like family to me. They push me every day to become better and they always have my back.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

GC: I like hanging out with my friends, watching soccer games, and spending time with my family.

VYPE: What are you plans for life after high school?

GC: I’d love to play soccer at the college level and pursue a degree in architecture.

VYPE: What are your plans for the summer?

GC: I plan to train every day, become stronger, attend camps and spend quality time working on myself.
