Sand Spring’s Eli Bise – Soccer Spotlight – Presented by Eric Davidson, State Farm Insurance Agent

Sand Springs’ Eli Bise

At the early age of three, Eli Bise started playing the game of soccer. Now a junior at Charles Page High School, Bise is a member of the varsity team and is looking to make the 2025 season one to remember.

“This season I am looking forward to improving and developing as a player and being able to play with my teammates and friends,” said Bise.

The ultimate goal is to make the state tournament, but for now, Bise is focused on one game at a time and doing everything he can to help his team.

“The strength of my skill set is my awareness and I have improved most on my composure,” said Bise.

To mentally prepare himself for competition, Bise said he listens to music and imagines himself succeeding on the field. In the classroom, Bise said he is taking advanced classes and preparing for life after high school.

“I am taking multiple AP classes and also involved in a PLTW biomedical science course [project lead the way],” Bise said. “CPHS is a great place for a student-athlete because of all the support from my teachers and peers. The goal for life after high school is to hopefully continue playing soccer somewhere and be successful.”

Bise said he is inspired by the support he receives from his family. The junior loves being around his teammates and seeing how the community supports the team.

“I am impressed with my current teammate Nathaniel McClaren, and he is always motivating me to be better,” Bise said. “What I love most about my teammates is their passion and intensity coming onto the field.”
