Coweta High School senior Camdin Wood is in his final season of prep soccer. Wood said he started playing the game at the age of five and has loved competing for and representing CHS.
Representing CHS is something Wood said he is proud to do.
“Playing at home is the best place to play,” Wood said. “Coweta is a very good school, and the education is very good.”
Known for his leadership, Wood said he has continued to work on his game and has made improvements with his speed this season. Wood said he would like to continue playing soccer at the next level.
“I would like to play soccer at a higher level after high school,” said Wood.
Wood said the support the team gets from family and friends means a lot to the team.
“It means a lot seeing people want me to do my best and watch me succeed,” said Wood.
To prepare himself for a game, Wood likes to listen to music. He said the team is like a family and the players are very close.
Wood is proud of what he has accomplished at the prep level.
“Beating our rivals, winning Emerald Cup, becoming captain on both club and high school are things I am proud of accomplishing,” said Wood.
