With over 100 nominees, the voting came down to 5 finalists, which included McKenzie Mathurin of Broken Arrow, Keeley Parks of Norman, Kyiah Prestridge of Westmoore, Allyssa Parker of Pocola, and Henley West of Hammon.

Mathurin is committed to the University of Michigan. Mathurin is the second player from Broken Arrow High School to win the award. Toree Thompson won the award in 2013-14.
