VYPE: What grade are you currently in and how long have you been playing baseball?

Brysen Donnell: I’m a junior and I’ve been playing baseball for 14 years now.

VYPE: What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher?

BD: My favorite school subject is U.S. History, and my favorite teacher is Mr. Hendrickson.

VYPE: Are you involved in any clubs or groups at school?

BD: I am not involved in any groups, but I am interested in Leadership.

VYPE: What are your plans for after graduation?

BD: I plan to go to college for baseball and try to make it big one day.

VYPE: What position do you play and what position would you like to play?

BD: I play centerfield and I would like to stay in centerfield for the rest of my career.

VYPE: What do you tell yourself at the plate?

BD: I like to tell myself to stay inside the baseball, let my hands do the work, trust the weight room and this pitcher won’t beat me.

VYPE: What is your favorite pitch to hit?

BD: Definitely a fastball low and inside, that is the pitch I can get my best swing off.

VYPE: What is the best unwritten rule in baseball?

BD: Don’t talk about a no-hitter while one it’s going on.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life and why?

BD: My biggest influence in my life has been my dad, he has always been hard on me but at the end of the day it’s all been worth it.
