Holland Hall’s Luke Beeler

Every baseball player grows up dreaming about playing in the show. It starts in T-ball, then coach pitch and finally into kid-pitch. Eventually you grow up and if you stick it out and work hard, you can possibly play in middle school, junior high and high school. For Holland Hall’s Luke Beeler this season marks his final year of prep baseball. The senior started playing at age six and is now ready to get the season underway.

“My goal for this season is to grow as a team and make it to state,” said Beeler.

Always working to improve his game, Beeler said entering the 2025 season he has continued to develop his skills as a catcher.

“My strength of my skill set is hitting, I have improved on my catching for this season,” said Beeler.

As with any baseball team, your teammates keep it interesting. Beeler said being part of the Dutch squad is something special.

“I like the tight group we have created for this baseball season to go out and compete,” Beeler said. “A teammate that keeps everyone laughing is Trey Burleson or Clarke Stanford. Carson is the most serious. A good example of leadership was left behind by a senior when I was a freshman, Josh Holt.”

Being a member of the Dutch family and a student-athlete means the support for the team and each student is a tremendous advantage.

“Holland Hall is a great place for student-athletes because of the people you are surrounded by, that are determined to be successful,” said Beeler.

To mentally prepare for competition, Beeler said he likes to listen to music, but his inspirations comes from someone close to home.
“I listen to some good country music before each game to mentally prepare myself,” Beeler said. “My grandpa inspires me on and off the field by his hard work.”

Playing at the next level was a goal for Beeler, but now that he’s reached that goal, playing ball for as long as possible is the ultimate goal.

“My goal for life is to play baseball as long as I can then be successful in whatever path I take. I’m most proud of signing to play DI baseball,” said Beeler.
