Claremore Zebras – Boys Basketball Team Preview – Presented by Advanced Orthopedics

CLAREMORE ZEBRAS

Coach: Thomas Lynn Nolan

23-24 Record: 14-9

OUTLOOK

Thanks to a great summer and hard work leading into the season, Claremore head coach Thomas Lynn Nolan is excited to see what this team can accomplish this season despite losing several players to graduation.

“We are very excited about the upcoming 2024-25 season. We have a group of young men who have worked very hard in the off-season. With the departure of seven seniors from last year’s group, we will be relying on guys to take a much different role in the upcoming season,” said coach Nolan.

Teegan Mann (Sr.) is a four-year starter for the Zebras and a player coach Nolan expects to have a big season. Mann is called the “heart and soul” of the team. Mann carries a 4.0 GPA and is averaged double-digits last season as a junior. With a lethal shot from the outside, Mann has worked hard this offseason to become a true threat with the ball while driving to the rim.

Tytus Eubanks & Beau Eubanks – Claremore High School

Tytus Eubanks (Sr.) Beau Eubanks (Sr.) are two hard-working players who represent the program and CHS in the best light possible. Both players contribute to the overall success of the team. Also look for Nolan Sheryl (Jr.) at power forward where his presence and ability to battle for rebounds will come into play. Known for his toughness, Sheryl will man-up on the opponent’s top player. Michael Tarver may have started his basketball career later than others, but his athleticism and ability to absorb coaching has made him a leader for the Zebras.

Other players to watch include Tripp Jackson, Graham Williams (So.), and Jase Hogan. Hogan is an underclassman the coaching staff is excited to see develop this season.
