Anyone playing baseball in Oklahoma at the prep level has played or heard of the NOAH Jaguars baseball team. Under the leadership of head coach Sean Call, the team is poised for another great season.

“Our squad has talent throughout, and our players bring a lot of tools to the game. We have a number of guys that can play multiple positions and help us in a number of ways,” said coach Call.

With four college committed seniors on the roster, the Jaguars will be tough to score against.

Bray Harrison will play at Oklahoma Christian University and will pitch and play in the outfield for the Jags. Brett Rutledge will play at Oklahoma Wesleyan University and pitch, catch and play third. Treyton Salyers will also play at Oklahoma Wesleyan University will pitch, catch and play third. Middle Infielder Andrew Hudson will play at Connors State College next year.

“The starting rotation for NOAH looks strong. Ethan Arant, Harrison, Gabe Mathews, and Rutledge look to anchor the staff,” said coach Call.

Defensively the Jags will be as salty as any team they will play.

“The Jaguars infield can be a difference maker, with returning varsity starters up the middle – Arant, Hudson and junior Levi Fisher. NOAH has good athleticism in the outfield. A number of guys could be a presence through the season – including Arant, Harrison, Silas Goff, Mathews, Luke Wagner, Ethan Wilke, and Baker Young,” said coach Call.

Offensively, the Jags look to produce runs and be aggressive on the bases.

“We’ve put lots of repetitions in, and we are looking to function as a consistent offensive unit that hits the ball hard. A bonus — we have more speed than previous years! We look to be aggressive on the basepaths, and push runs across the plate with good situational hitting.

Several players are poised for breakout seasons including Isaac Call and Wilke.

“Call will share catching duties with Rutledge and Salyers, and Wilke is expected to be a strong factor in the outfield. Will Jameson, also a sophomore, is a reliable infielder/pitcher and brings a good mental toughness in big situations,” said coach Call.

Fans of the Jags should be excited for the season as they look to make this a memorable season.

“Fans can expect a team that is resilient and brings lots of energy to the game,” said coach Call.
