Sapulpa’s Coltin Crabtree
VYPE: Coltin, when did you start playing soccer and what grade are you in this year?
Coltin Crabtree: I started playing soccer in 1st grade and I am currently a senior.
VYPE: What position are you playing and what position would you like to try?
CC: I currently play right forward, and I have always wanted to try and play goalie.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
CC: I love how they push me and everyone else around them to be become better every day while also keeping practices fun. They are a very great group if guys.
VYPE: Do you play other sports or belong to any other clubs?
CC: I am in NHS and I was a part of the varsity football team.
VYPE: What makes Sapulpa and SHS special to you?
CC: The community that Sapulpa has creates this great environment. The coaches and teachers as well as the students buy into this supportive community and that makes everything enjoyable.
VYPE: What are you doing when you’re not playing soccer?
CC: When I am not playing soccer, I spend my free time with my friends and my fiancé Ryanna. In June I am getting married to my wonderful fiancé and I will be spending my summer with her until fall when I will be attending Tulsa University.
VYPE: What are you going to study at TU?
CC: After high school I wanted to get my bachelor’s degree in finance and become a Loan Officer.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
CC: Someone who has been a huge inspiration to me this year is Coach D. He has pushed me to become better since June of last year and I owe him a huge credit to the player I am today. His believe in me as a person and player has shaped me into a leader.
VYPE: Which teammate has impressed you this season?
CC: Ivan Cruise and the way he has come on our team as a freshman and has become such a crucial part of our game has really impressed me.
