LINCOLN CHRISTIAN BULLDOGS
Coach: JERRY RICKE
14-0
OFFENSE
The defending back-to-back Class 3A State Champion Bulldogs have their eyes set on a third consecutive date in Edmond, Oklahoma to close out the season on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Coach Jerry Ricke, entering his ninth season at the helm, has led Lincoln Christian to three state championships in five appearances over the last six years. The reason hopes are high on the campus in northeast Tulsa is that starting quarterback Carter Ricke (6-1, 185, Sr.) is returning after he totaled 2,879 yards through the air with 43 touchdowns while completing 75 percent of his passes. Carter Ricke, a VYPE Top 100 candidate, brings experience in the spread formation offense that the Bulldogs operate out of, providing unmatched leadership. The senior signal caller will benefit from five starters returning along the offensive line in Lincoln Torres (6-2, 255, Jr.), Carson Elix (6-2, 255, Sr.), Kaden Claybrook (5-10, 205, Jr.), TH Harrell (6-0, 210, Sr.) and Colt Monsey (6-3, 230, Jr.). Junior fullback Rain Ragland (6-0, 245) adds additional protection not only for Ricke but backfield mates Braeden Baker (6-0, 195, Jr.) and CJ Wright (5-9, 160, So.). Baker totaled 893 yards on 106 carries as a sophomore, scoring 17 touchdowns. He added four more touchdowns on 21 receptions, racking up 392 yards through the air. The sophomore Wright averaged over 10 yards per carry, totaling 716 yards on 70 carries and eight touchdowns. Wright added six receiving touchdowns on 17 receptions and 336 yards. Hudson Farris (5-9, 165, Sr.) is a two-year returning starter at wide receiver. Wright could see time at the receiver position along with Brett Kaste (6-2, 185, Jr.) and Caleb Peterson.
DEFENSE
Operating out of a 3-3-5 defense that allows the Bulldogs to show multiple looks, coverages, and pressures to opponents. The key to the defense is the front three of sophomores Ragland, Torres, and Monsey who are relentless players in the trenches who set the tone and bring attitude to the team. Ragland compiled 11 sacks as a sophomore to go with 54 tackles. Torres compiled 42 tackles and two sacks while Monsey finished his sophomore campaign with 36 tackles and five sacks. Connor Rowlett (6-1, 205, Sr.) returns at linebacker after totaling 45 tackles and four sacks. His leadership along that second line of defense will be important for a defense that allowed three touchdowns or less in 13 of its 14 games last season. Kaste returns to the defensive backfield after he had four interceptions last year and is joined by Baker, who compiled 56 tackles. Farris and Wright also return in the secondary, while Coach Ricke is excited about some of the newcomers to the defense. Expect the defense, coordinated by Jeff Comfort, to be stingy once again. The Bulldogs enter the 2025 campaign with a 29-game win streak dating back to the 2023 season, the third-longest active streak in the OSSAA.
