Berryhill Cheer
Like other cheer teams in Oklahoma, the team at Berryhill High School spent their late summer working on routines and learning their roles on the team.
Head coach Christian Barrington is excited to see what the team can accomplish this season. Several key team members make their return to the squad this season giving the team solid leadership and experience.
“The upcoming season is shaping up to be one full of spirit, growth and unity. With returning athletes bringing leadership and fresh faces adding new energy, the team is balanced and motivated,” said coach Barrington.
The schedule for this football season has the team traveling to Fort Gibson, Cleveland, Jay, Verdigris and Cascia Hall. Coach Barrington said the team has put in the work and is looking forward to taking the field and leading the Berryhill faithful during the games.
Once competition season comes around, look for the Chieftains to step up in a big way and make their presence felt on the mat.
“The team is training with a champion mindset-pushing skills, raising difficulty and perfecting execution. With discipline and determination, the goal is clear: to qualify for Game Day State and finish as a top-placing team,” said coach Barrington.
