OUTLOOK
Energy levels are up, excitement is building, and the Lady Redhawks are prepared for a run at the state tournament this season. Coach Joshua Berry returns a nucleus of players with tremendous experience who are coupled with a few transfers expected to make an impact this season. Overall, the team is coming together, and the expectations are growing.
“We are looking forward to building on last year’s season. We will be a very energized and balanced team to watch. Have some experience coming back along with a couple good move-ins,” coach Berry said.

Three-year starter Isabella McSwain (5-5, Sr.) is back at point guard where she averaged 6.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game as a junior. McSwain can make it difficult for teams on both ends of the court. Add two-year starter Whitney Smith (5-8, Sr.) at guard and you get another player who can add 8.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
If you love to watch players who can play in the paint or step out and hit shots, then watch Jada Davis (6-2, So.) and Mika Davis (6-2, So.), twin sisters who can play any position on the court. Jada started last season and contributed 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Both girls are expected to play a major role this season as the pair already have college offers on the table.
Demoia Gater (5-9, Jr.) is a transfer from Glenpool and Camari Lowmack (5-6, Jr.) has moved in from Booker T. Washington. The pair have worked their way into the fold and look to be difference makers for the team this season. Yonae’ Edwards (5-9, Sr.) averaged 4.0 points with 2.5 rebounds last season and can play guard or forward. Other players to watch include Jhazmyn Herron (5-4, Jr.) at point guard who made the game winning free throws to go to the state tournament, Damaria Daniels (5-6, Jr.) at point guard, Indya Hishaw (6-0, Sr.) at forward and Amiyah Richardson (5-9, Sr.) at forward.
