VYPE: Blakely, what position do you play and what grade are you in?
Blakely Delay: I play outside back and center back, and I’m a sophomore.
VYPE: Which teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
BD: Blaire Engles because she has been my club best friend throughout my whole soccer career.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
BD: Making it to the 6A state championships with Bixby my freshman year.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
BD: My dad because he is a very determined person and gives 110% at everything he does.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
BD: Jamie Lee because she is kind and understanding of students.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
BD: Being able to play in front of my friends and peers that I go to school with.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
BD: Never burn bridges because you never know what is to come in the future.

BD: I wish to say thank you to my club coach Troy because he has helped me develop as a person and player this past year. Also my parents who give me every opportunity possible to play the sport I love.
