
Vype: As you have ended your last season of volleyball at Sand Springs, who has been your most influential coach?
Jayden: Derek Jackson
Vype: Did you have any teammates that you admire or that supported you?
Jayden: Addie Ray and Alia Deberry have been the most supportive, I looked up to Payton Robbins the most my sophomore year.
Vype: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Jayden: It has taught me to trust the people around you and believe in them. It is hard to succeed if you don’t surround yourself with people who don’t have the same goals as you do.
Vype: What has been your favorite memory from your volleyball career?
Jayden: This year, During our Jenks game when we took a set off of them for the first time in program history.
Vype: Do you play any other sports? If so, what sports?
Jayden: I play volleyball year round. I play club volleyball, school volleyball and beach volleyball.
Vype: What do you like to do in your free time?
Jayden: I like spending time with my friends, being active, doing art and spending time with my dad. I also love shopping!
Vype: What is your proudest volleyball achievement or moment?
Jayden: My 14’s year when our 2’s club team placed runner-up in regionals and went to nationals for the second time in history for Club One.
Vype: What is next for you in volleyball?
Jayden: I plan on finishing my last year of club and beach volleyball, and playing in college.
Vype: Do you have any shout outs?
Jayden: I would like to shout out to all of my teammates and coaches for supporting me and believing in me. I would also like to shout out my parents for funding all my years of sports.
