9 Questions with Coweta’s Jacee Williams – Presented by Allen Braumiller

VYPE: What grade are you in and how long have you played volleyball?

Jacee Williams:  I am a junior in high school and have been playing volleyball since the 7th grade.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence on your life and why?

JW: My parents have had a big influence on my life because they always support me and get me where I need to be no matter if it’s a volleyball tournament or a rodeo!

VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?

JW: My favorite subject in school is math but my favorite teacher is Mrs. Albright because she always makes class fun.

VYPE: Are you in any groups or clubs at school?

JW: I am in National Honor Society

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

JW: The thing I love most about my teammates is their willingness to always go out and play hard no matter who we play and where we are.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate high school?

JW: I plan to go to college on a rodeo or volleyball scholarship and get my master’s in psychology. I would like to be a school psychologist when I grow up. I also plan on college rodeoing and making the finals for at least two years.

VYPE: Who is the best setter on the team?

JW: Both of our setters are equally amazing. They both have their own set of strengths and weaknesses, but they are always positive and ready to play.

VYPE: What teammate is always going to the floor for a dig?

JW: Our libero Mattea Holm is always working her butt off to get the hall up no matter what it takes. She is always on the floor and sacrificing her body for our team.

VYPE: Jump serve or standing serve, which do you prefer and why?JW: I like to jump serve because I feel like you have momentum when you jump, and it makes the jump float serve wiggle more.
