Charles Page High School Cheer
Every summer marks the beginning of a new season and new journey for cheer teams across Oklahoma. In Sand Springs, the Charles Page High School cheer team is no different.
Head coach Kassidy Focht has been busy keeping the team focused and coming up with new routines and training methods to get her team competing at a high level. From the football field to the competition mat, coach Focht is determined to create an environment at CPHS that breeds confidence and delivers when the moment comes.
This season the program is building for the future while maintaining and competing with an excellent group of seniors who provide leadership and direction for the team.

“This will be the first year in Sand Springs history that our junior high team will also be competing for a Gameday title,” coach Focht said.
That fact alone will help lay a foundation for future generations, but this season features seven seniors at the varsity level who will help this program blossom.
“Our 7 seniors each hold a very specific and special place in leadership and are helping to pave the way for our younger athletes to compete and flourish in our program. I look forward to the growth and celebration that this season will bring,” coach Focht said.

As “Coach K” and team members like Faith Humble, Marlee Dixon, and Hailey Noe are all examples of what this team is about. Their team-first attitude, work ethic and ability to rally teammates are a few of the factors that make this squad one to watch. Younger members like Brighton Cole bring their energy and skills to the team giving this group an excellent mix of senior leadership and youthful enthusiasm.
