DANIEL WEBSTER WARRIORS
Coach: EVERETT DAVIS
0-10
OFFENSE
Despite the 0-10 record from a season ago, the positive attitudes and commitment to improve are present in every workout and practice. Head coach Everett Davis is excited to see what this team can do with larger numbers. “We return 30 players this year we should be stronger faster and smarter coming into this season,” said coach Davis. Nine starters are back on offense including Donovan Howard (5-11, 160, So.) who will see time at quarterback and in certain packages play wide receiver as well. Despite being an underclassman, Howard will play a key role in the offense alongside Lonnie Bowler (6-0, 170, Jr.) who will handle the duties at running back. Bowler is a VYPE Top 100 selectee and has been the starter at RB for two seasons. “This should be a breakout year for him, he is a team leader, he makes guys better when he is around, he is very explosive and we can’t wait to watch him this year,” said coach Davis. Jeremiah Stoker could split time with Howard at quarterback, but the staff is hopeful Stoker can have a season that solidifies him as one of the key players on offense. Look for Webster to spread out the defense and attack what the opponent gives them.

DEFENSE
Lartim Samuel (5-10, 230, Sr.) had four sacks last season from his defensive tackle spot and is poised for a big year in the trenches. Samuel is the type of player in the 4-3 scheme that can cause all sorts of problems for an opposing offense. Khalil Stoker will play in the secondary and see time at wide receiver on offense. Stoker is explosive with a high football IQ. His play in the secondary will help shore up the defense and prevent the big plays downfield. The coaching staff consists of coach Boston, coach Williams, coach Coleman and coach Springer.
