BIXBY LADY SPARTANS
Coach: RYLIE LITTLEJON
2024-25 Record: 24-4
OUTLOOK
With a veteran team returning to the court for the Lady Spartans, head coach Rylie Littlejohn is looking forward to coaching this team to another state tournament appearance and possibly more.
“We are a veteran team this season, returning four of five starters and a strong supporting bench from last year’s State Quarterfinal run and 24-4 record. With our experience and leadership, we aim to build on that success and compete for another deep postseason run,” coach Littlejohn said.

Kate Wernli (5-10, Sr.) averaged 15 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Wernli can play guard or forward depending on opponent and who is on the floor for the Lady Spartans. Kate Datel (5-9, Sr.) is a point guard who averaged 7.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals a game. The combo of Wernli and Datel is tough to stop, but add Brooklyn Scarborough (5-10, Sr.) and Kourtney Wright (5-10, Jr.), and you have the nucleus of a team that can go all the way. Wright averaged 13 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.1 steals a game while Scarborough tossed in 5.2 points, grabbed 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals and assists.
Look for sophomore Kerrington Campbell (5-7) to continue pushing for playing time as the young gun looks to improve on her 2.7 points per game average. Also look for Addi Kramer (5-9, Sr.) at guard. Kramer can spark the team on both ends of the court.
Other players to watch include Hallie Jewell (5-7, Jr.), Avery Iliff (5-9, Jr.), Payton Neffendorf (5-9, So.), Peyton Singer (5-6, So.), and Sadie Texter (5-8, So.). Jewell averaged 3.0 points a game while Iliff accounted for 2.3 points as a sophomore.
This team is loaded with next level talent and will be tough to contend with on any given night. Follow their progress on Instagram @bixbywbb or on X @bixbywbb.
