Aiden Anderson Talks Basketball – Presented by Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center

VYPE Magazine caught up with senior Aiden Anderson to get his thoughts on the upcoming season.

VYPE: Aiden, what was your stat line last season?

Aiden Anderson: I averaged 12 ppg, 4.5 apg, and .5 rpg per game.

VYPE: What’s your process for getting better?

AA: My process for getting better is being in the gym and when I’m in the gym, it’s quantity over quality. I’d like to get the most out of my reps rather than getting a ton of reps.

VYPE: Has there been a former teammate who inspired you?

AA: Seth Boomer – Seth really had an impact on the player. I wanted to be based on how good he was and how well he led his team when he played at Collinsville.

VYPE: Who inspires you on or off the court?

AA: My dad inspires me because of the example he has always led us by and the way he treats people.

VYPE: Fondest memory as a player at CHS?

AA: Making the state tournament 2-4 times.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite teacher or subject in school?

AA: Mrs. Sonnenfeld because she pushed me to do my best in my math classes. I had her throughout my high school career.

VYPE: Best advice you ever received?

AA: Don’t take criticism from someone you wouldn’t seek advice from.

VYPE: Who would you like to give a shout-out to?
AA: Shout out to my mom for always believing in me and always being supportive. She wouldn’t miss a game for the world.

VYPE: If people wanted to find you on social media, where would they go? AA: Instagram @aiden_anders20
