Owasso’s Tah’Kari Bethel
VYPE: Tah’Kari, what have you noticed about this Owasso Rams football team in spring ball and during team camp?
Tah’Kari Bethel: My favorite thing about camp was fighting with my teammates and pulling a win against Mustang.
VYPE: What have you improved on the most coming into the season?
TB: Getting back to good health from my injury.
VYPE: As a leader on the team, what can you bring to the huddle and the locker room to help this teams approach to a game?
TB: I can bring energy and excitement for when the game comes.
VYPE: I’ve been told you have a tremendous work ethic. Where does that come from?
TB: It comes from wanting to make my mother proud and I want to make it to college to play football.
VYPE: Which teammates have surprised you this spring or who has stepped up their game?
TB: Peyton Lagrand, he has really stepped from last year and is becoming a leader and he comes to play every day.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing with your free time away from field?
TB: I like messing with my mom and playing my game.
VYPE: Who are the teams you follow in football at the other levels?
TB: For college it’s Oregon, but for the NFL it’s the Seahawks.
VYPE: What game do you have circled on your calendar?
TB: All of them. I want to bring the same level to each game.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
TB: My mom, she’s a hard worker.
