2024-25 Record: 17-13
OUTLOOK
With several scorers returning to the lineup and players with post season experience, the Bulldogs and head coach Scott Bowman are eager to get on the court.
“Have two starters returning from area qualifying, with a lot of young talent,” said coach Bowman. “We look for big things this year. Our schedule is tough, we will be playing 10 to 12 games will be against state tournament teams.”
Cody Dearing (5-10, Sr.) is back after averaging 13 points per game from his guard spot. Dearing is a workhorse who also plays tough defense. VYPE Top 100 selectee Braylon Banks (6-3, Jr.) also averaged 13 points a game as a sophomore. The combo of Dearing and Banks will help the Bulldogs set the tone for both ends of the court.
“Banks was the leader scorer through most of the playoffs for us last year. Should put up some big scoring numbers,” coach Bowman said.
Also look for Jayden Wright (6-2, Jr.) who averaged 5.0 points a game and could see time at forward. Listed as a guard, Wright has the potential to elevate his game this season and become one of the go-to players on offense.
Other players to watch include Carson Krumm (5-10, Sr.), Maddox Anglen (5-7, Fr.), and Brody Branscum (6-0, Fr.).
