Owasso E-sports Team Ready for Big Year – Presented by Rib Crib

The Owasso Rams Esports Team is coming off its best season yet, looking to improve on it. Starting off, the Valorant team in June won the LOS National Scholastic Championship by facing against seven other champions/representatives from other states. The team only lost one player due to graduation, the team is looking to dominate the state and national scene one more time. The current team is (Captain) Caleb Rathbone, Strong Baker, Ty Anderson, Haiden Radtke, Jayden Nguyen, and Khang Le


The Super Smash Brothers team lost its team leader through graduation but is retaining the other 2 members of its 3v3 state championship team with Andre Wiens and Malachi Lee. The team also added two new excellent players and brothers with Nathan and Noah Dinwiddie. Senior Amethyst Johnson rounds out the five-person team.


The state champion Marvel Rivals team is coming back with every player from its run last year, and added another excellent player Gabriel Hough. The team consists of (Captain) Andre Wiens, Caleb Rathbone, Jayden Nguyen, Matthew Her, Pierce Barnes, Khang Le, and Strong Baker.


Overwatch 2 team is looking to improve its 3rd place finish last year, even though it lost two of its players last year. With the additions of Gabriel Hough and Declan Derricott, the team does not look like its missing any steps. The team is captained by Matthew Her, along with Pierce Barnes, Victoria Compton, and Khang Le.


And finally, Owasso has reintroduced its Rocket League team after two years is not having one. Freshman Ryan Greiner is leading this young group with sophomore Seth Williams, sophomore Landon Terbrook, and freshman Nahid Aorno.
