SPERRY PIRATES
Coach: ROBERT PARK
5-7
Sperry heads into 2026–27 knowing it will be young and inexperienced at many positions. Head coach Robert Park notes the Pirates have moved to a Wing-T on offense and back to a 3-4 on defense. He identifies the team’s strength as its skilled positions and says the program is looking to extend its playoff streak to 13 consecutive seasons.

On offense, Sperry’s top listed performers include Mike Underwood (5-11, 235), who plays on both the offensive and defensive lines, and Jesus Rodriquez (5-8, 140), a wide receiver/defensive back. The Pirates will operate out of the Wing-T, emphasizing misdirection and backfield action within that scheme.

Defensively, Sperry will base out of a 3-4 front. The top listed defensive player is Gauge Edmondson (6-2, 175), who plays outside linebacker and H-back. Overall, the team has several questions they need to answer at key positions, but this team is resilient and will find a way to make the most of what they have on the roster.
